Valorie Lynn Amendola was born in Galesburg, Illinois with an inherited artistic flair and spent summers with her grandmother learning flower arranging and endless other crafts. She has worked in the travel industry and used this time to travel extensively and mentally absorb breathtaking landscapes and international cities to further inspire her artistic nature. Later, the travel industry caused her to relocate to New Rochelle, New York where she met her husband Frank Amendola at his Italian restaurant. As his name would imply, he is Italian and as one could hope he is an excellent chef.  After they moved to Minneapolis they opened another Italian restaurant. Together they produced two cookbooks; his recipes and her artwork and design. Her enthusiasm and artistic ability blossomed. She had classes from a wonderful and award winning artist, Frank Wetzel shortly after moving to Minnesota.
As featured on this site, one of her paintings was displayed by the Minneapolis Institute of Arts: The Foot in the Door Show 2000.
She uses the best oils and water colors to ensure her mystic paintings will hold their true color and definition as they adorn your walls.
Her landscapes take you on a different journey each time you look at one.  While her street scenes and doorways invite you to come inside and stay awhile.
